See the Floater Collection →Herbert Nelson started with 100 corner samples in Livonia, Michigan in 1958. He called it the Livonia Custom Picture Frame Company. He believed quality and customer service were not separate ideas.
In 1980, the company moved north to Traverse City. A new building followed in 2003. The Great Lakes air suits wood.
Today, Travis Nelson — Herbert's son — carries the second generation forward. The phone number is still 1-800-BUY-CHOP. The belief is still the same.
