The Rainier Collection
Inspired by the rugged peaks and dense forests of the Pacific Northwest. Profiles in deep slate, weathered silver, and raw cedar tones.
Read →For 68 years, Nelson's has supplied professional framers with the collections they reach for first. Over 1,000 wood and metal profiles, cut to your spec, shipped from Traverse City.
Every collection tells a story. Every profile is a choice your customer will live with.
The deepest floater frame in the framing industry. Engineered for gallery-wrapped canvases, deep-profile panels, and artwork that demands to float free of the wall. No other wholesale distributor offers this depth.
See the Floater Collection →Herbert Nelson started with 100 corner samples in Livonia, Michigan in 1958. He called it the Livonia Custom Picture Frame Company. He believed quality and customer service were not separate ideas.
In 1980, the company moved north to Traverse City. A new building followed in 2003. The Great Lakes air suits wood.
Today, Travis Nelson — Herbert's son — carries the second generation forward. The phone number is still 1-800-BUY-CHOP. The belief is still the same.
